E28 KY/OH 1986 528e (ugly!)

look for used cars?
I have an '86 528e that is not exactly pretty.

A few minor dents in the body, faded paint, etc. Interior is kind of rough.

Engine runs like a dream. Starts right up, runs smooth, no oil burning.

Transmission is DOA.

This would make an excellent 24 hours of Lemons car if you have a trans for it. It is a solid runner, and until the trans gave up, was a very reliable driver for my son.

If you wanted to replace the trans and just need basic transportation that is reliable
